John Orlando's career began in 1994 as a penciling assistant for Rich Buckler at Visage Studios from 1996-1998, where his career peaked for the first time as he released his creator-owned Cybergen, The Intruder, and Journey Into Madness. In addition to these he released a co-owned property with the legendary Roy Thomas, Doc Behemoth.
In 2012-2013, he made his big comeback to comics as his career spiked for a second time. With the help of Joe Martino, he released his creator-owned Underground Comix title, FHA-Q. This hilarious series featured four issues, an annual and a special mini.
John now works with Jonathan Miller and wife Jill Orlando at Macrospasm Studios, founded in 2016. In addition to these titles, John has also begun the Humans Movement. This began with the December 2016 release of John Orlando's Humans with Choice Words from Dan Fogel. The first coloring book and trading card set will make its public debut at Big Apple Con 2017. Coloring books are set for release every other month for this year as John has already begun working on the second main installment of Humans.
His newest upcoming project is his autobiographical graphic novel, My Paranormal Life. This will be debuting later in 2017, along with many other amazing Macrospasm Studio titles.
